1955 Mercedes Benz SLR Red

The 1955 Mercedes Benz 190SLR, one of two that we have in our collection. This special vehicle has a red exterior with a tartan red interior, which is considered checkered. Car was based off a 190SL, with Mercedes Benz Classic they converted the car into an SLR, which is a race spec vehicle. This vehicle is a tribute to a handful of racing prepared cars, limiting our knowledge to how many are in the world.

There are many differences between the 190SL and the 190SLR. Some things that are different consist of:

-Upgraded carburetors & exhaust (race prep)

-Shaved Bumper Trim

-Cut Down Windshields

-Roll Bars

-Fuel Cell System 

-Sport Suspension
