1971 Mercedes Benz 280SE

Our silver 1971 Mercedes Benz 280SE Convertible, purchased and restored by Mercedes Benz Classic Center. Purchased at the same time our 1971 Mercedes Benz silver 280SE coupe. This is one of four 280SE in our collection, including both coupes and convertibles. From the years of 1965 to 1972, a total of 5,187 coupes and convertibles, with the larger engine were produced. Only 1,232 convertibles with the 8-cylinder engine were produced. With the V8 engine makes the car more desirable, and valuable due to the low production numbers, and interest in more powerful vehicles.
